Professional Dog Training
For Owners who Care

Jeff offers one-to-one sessions in the Lincolnshire area which are one full hour and charged at £25.00 per hour plus travelling expenses. Extra time is charged accordingly.

Sessions take place between 10.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Sessions can be arranged outside of usual hours but a charge will be made accordingly.

Before any one-to one session can commence, there is a free consultation (note: travelling expenses are still applicable) allowing you the opportunity to see Jeff with your dog and his methods first hand. It also gives Jeff the chance to see the dog in its own environment and any problems in the first instance. Then you can discuss the next stage of the type of training that is required for you and your dog.
Having this informal introduction between the three of you lets all parties 'sniff-out' each other to see if you wish to go ahead with the training sessions. It also gives you, the owner, confidence that you have chosen the correct trainer.

For details of one-to-one sessions contact ProDog using the information below. Please bear in mind that a waiting list is in operation.

Testimonials

I met Jeff about ten years ago while attending puppy classes. I had been to another club before joining Jeff’s and my puppy Afghan, Katie had not made much progress. When we started at Jeff’s classes, we immediately started to improve. Over the next few years, we sailed though all the KC Good Citizen tests under Jeff’s experienced tutoring. We also did well in similar tests run by the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. Jeff’s training is fun for the dog and handler which makes learning training techniques easy for both the dog and the owner. I went onto train my  two other Afghans with Jeff. The result is that I can easily walk all three dogs together. I am often asked by amazed passers by ‘how do you manage all these dogs at once?’ to which I reply ‘training classes with Jeff Wyhatt!’. The best thing about Jeff’s classes is that Jeff will help the dog and owner, no matter how big or how small the problem may be or seem to be. So I never felt unable to ask him for help, whenever I needed it in training.

Having never owned a dog before, we decided we should take our rescue dog 'Monty' to obedience training, not just for his sake - but for ours too! Jeff was recommended by some friends who were already in his classes and I have to say this was the best decision we ever made. His easy-going, friendly personality is underlined by an uncanny ability to identify exactly how to get the best results from both dog and handler. With Jeff's seemingly endless patience, you never feel under pressure about 'getting it wrong' and all the dogs in his class seem to genuinely enjoy the experience. Certainly Monty couldn't wait to get into the hall on a Wednesday evening to see Jeff! We now have a wonderful, energetic but perfectly behaved family pet the envy of all our family and friends, thanks to Jeff... our very own dog whisperer! Many thanks.

I began dog training with my Rottweiller puppy in Sept 2005. Having never been to a class before i didnt know what to expect, but Jeff made everyone welcome and explained everything really well. We were taught the basic things such as sit and stay and also the importance of socialising the dogs with each other. I progressed with Lexie into the advanced class, and i now have a very obedient and happy dog. I enjoyed the classes and made lots of new friends as did Lexie and i would recommend these classes to anyone with a dog. I would like to thank Jeff for all the help and advise he has given me over the last 3 years. Keep it up Jeff, and thanks again.

The best training in the East Anglian region by far. Jeff is one of the best dog trainers I have ever come across.

Great trainer that makes everything fun for both dog and handler and always gets the best out of them.

I had almost given up on my dog (a serious sheep chaser). Several so called trainers/behaviourists had tried and failed when I was put in touch with Jeff Whyatt. He solved the problem and now I can walk through sheep with my dog heal free and he takes no notice at all.
